Julie Radico, PsyD, ABPP

We are glad you have found the American Academy of Clinical Health Psychology (ACHP) website! ACHP is the membership organization for psychologists board certified in clinical health psychology by the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP).

The mission of the Academy includes:

  • Representing and supporting the professional interests of its members
  • Recruiting and mentoring candidates eligible for board certification in clinical health psychology
  • Promoting the value and recognition of ABPP board certification

The Academy is closely affiliated with the American Board of Clinical Health Psychology (ABCHP), which qualifies and examines candidates seeking ABPP board certification in clinical health psychology.

Benefits of ACHP membership include:

  • The title of Fellow of the Academy of Clinical Health Psychology
  • Inclusion on the ACHP listserv
  • Networking opportunities with other board certified clinical health psychologists

Give back as an ACHP fellow by:

  • Mentoring future ABCHP qualified candidates
  • Contributing to educational seminars
  • Pursuing board membership
  • Recruiting ABCHP candidates

Interested in becoming board certified in clinical health psychology:

  • ACHP provides:
    • Mentoring (upon request) to ABCHP qualified candidates including:
      • feedback on written work samples
      • preparing for the oral examination
    • Virtual Q&A sessions several times annually
