Psychologist - Forensic Evaluator

Salary: $74,964 – $98,376/annually DOQ

 

This announcement is for eight (8) Forensic Psychology Services Supervisors.  The positions are located in Tacoma, Seattle and Olympia. 

 

The Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS), Behavioral Health Administration (BHA), Office of Forensic Mental Health Services (OFMHS) is seeking an experienced and motivated professional to serve as a Psychologist- Forensic Evaluator.  This position conducts forensic psychological evaluations, provides expert testimony for the courts, conducts psychological testing of patients and provides reports to the court.

 

The hiring manager is looking for the following desirable qualifications:

 

  • Professionals with a doctoral degree in psychology from an accredited school or department of psychology and an active license to practice as a psychologist in the State of Washington.

 

  • Successful completion of a pre-doctoral internship accredited by the American Psychological Association.

 

  • Preference may be given for either forensic fellowship training or one year as a forensic evaluator and expert witness.

 

  • Preference may be given for ABPP certification.
