Salary: $78,144 – $101,604/annually DOQ


This announcement is for three (3) Forensic Psychology Services Supervisors.  The positions are located in Tacoma, Seattle and Olympia.  The salary for these positions is currently under review.


The Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS), Behavioral Health Administration (BHA), Office of Forensic Mental Health Services (OFMHS) is seeking an established and enthusiastic leader to serve as a Forensic Psychology Services Supervisor.  This position reports to the Director of the Office of Forensic Mental Health Services and supervises forensic evaluators.  The Supervisor will ensure the delivery of consistent, effective and high quality forensic evaluation services that meet the needs of consumers, courts and stakeholders.


The hiring manager is looking for the following desirable qualifications:


  • Professionals with a doctoral degree in psychology from an accredited school or department of psychology and an active license to practice as a psychologist in the State of Washington or the ability to obtain one prior to employment.


  • Substantive post-doctoral experience and demonstrated psychological treatment and assessment skills.


  • Successful completion of a pre-doctoral internship accredited by the American Psychological Association.


  • Preference may be given for either forensic fellowship training or significant experience as a forensic evaluator and expert witness.


  • Preference may be given for ABPP certification.
