We are delighted to welcome you to the website for the American Board of Clinical Health Psychology (ABCHP). Attached you will find the necessary instructions to get the process started if you are interested in board certification in clinical health psychology. Our goal is to assist you in any way we can, and our expectation is that all qualified clinical health psychologists become board certified. 

 

The ABCHP is a specialty board of the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP).  Successful completion of the board certification process is a strong statement of your commitment to excellence. Board certification is applicable to all clinicians, including those in clinical practice, academic settings, academic health centers, etc. The prospective applicant may have a career path in research, academia, or administration but the underlying common thread is an involvement in clinical health psychology.
